Annual Hayride & Bonfire

Throughout our current sermon series called Together, we’ve been learning different ways to follow Jesus as a family. In community, we’re able to be a part of each other’s lives, share struggles and victories, and spend good time getting to know one another. A fun, upcoming opportunity for our whole community to be together outside our Sunday Gathering is our Annual Hayride & Bonfire.

Who?

You, your family, children, neighbors, and friends! If you’re new to our church, this is a great way to connect and get to know others from Christ Community. Children will have plenty of space to run around the field and play.

What?

As you might have guessed, we’ll be doing a hayride and bonfire, but we’ll also have a picnic. Bring some food so we can all eat together on the countryside. We’ll have marshmallows for the roasting and hot chocolate and apple cider for the sipping.

Where?

The Bath’s House
5332 High Shoals Road
Bishop, GA 30621

When?

Saturday, October 25 from 5 to 9 p.m. The bonfire will start at 6 o’clock and we’ll begin hayride festivities shortly after, right in time for sunset.

Why?

The Annual Hayride & Bonfire will be a great chance to connect and build friendships with those in the church as well an opportunity to invite people from our everyday lives.

Anna Grace Vier, a covenant member and staff of Christ Community, has been attending this event for about five years now. For her, it was a starting place and connection point to Christ Community when a friend first invited her. During her second year attending, she was able to look back and see God tangibly answer her prayer of providing friends and community.

We hope it’s going to be a whole lot of a fun and just one way we can make the real Jesus unable to be ignored by the people around us. Would you join us?
