Today we are going to have A Moment of Reflection with Lewis Stowe. Lewis is an elder and faithful member of Christ Community. His incredible wit mixed with a deep understanding of the gospel makes him quotable week after week.


This was his description of the gospel from this past Sunday, March 18th, in his prayer:

“Lord, I have to confess to you that if my moral performance was calculated on a grade-scale, I’m not even sure I would be eligible for the HOPE scholarship. … However, with You as my Savior and my righteousness, I have a 4.0 in your eyes, and I thank You for that.”

[Call to Worship at the 10 AM gathering last week] ‘Well, it looks as though we have ourselves some competition this morning. We just arrived to worship the Lord corporately, but the sun has been up for hours declaring the majesty of God. So let’s join the sun and praise the light of the world.  John 1:1-5.
